Making a move to a new area can be daunting, but as long as the kids are alright, everything else falls gracefully into place. Comal ISD and New Braunfels ISD are the two major school districts in Comal County, making it a little easier to pick which best suits your kiddo.
NBISD and Comal ISD both offer a large selection of elementary schools, with convenient locations all over the county. However NBISD is a bit more local to the city of New Braunfels, offering two different middle schools and one main High School campus.
Comal ISD offers a huge variety of programs to accompany their multitude of middle and high schools. With at least five schools in each category, Comal ISD covers a larger area of the hill country including Spring Branch, Smithson Valley, and Canyon Lake.
Wherever you decide to hang your hat in the hill country, both school districts are pillars in their respective communities and will provide peace of mind while you enjoy your piece of heaven.
