Located in Comal County, Spring Branch is located in just west of Canyon Lake and is surrounded by the unincorporated community of the same name. It was named for a spring fed creek that flows into the Guadalupe River by German settlers around 1850. The city only covers 1.9 square miles but Spring Branch offers something for everyone. Ranches, gated communities and subdivisions.
